Video·Motion
Stories told in motion - video production and animation in Essex.
Corporate videography, explainer animation and voiceover - filmed, animated, voiced and edited by people who have been doing it for decades.
Corporate videography in Southend and Essex
Our man behind the camera is Marcus of Media2u - filming corporate video since 2005. Promotional films, drone footage, conference coverage, charity films and training videos. Shot in HD and 4K for clients from tech manufacturers to national charities. Shooting from anywhere in the UK from Southend and Essex to further afield when the job calls for it.
Whether you're after location shots in serene surroundings, an office-based interview or someone hanging off the front of a speed boat, Marcus is ready - with full location audio recording, including broadcast-quality wireless microphones, so what people say arrives as crisp as how they look.
Marcus is a seasoned, experienced professional and will handle the recce, the shoot and the production of your video. He will liaise with us to arrange the voiceover for your project, whether it be done in-house or with one of our trusted voices. Then it's time to package things up for you in whatever dimension and format you may need.
Bang! Graphics is there to tie the film into everything else your business shows the world.

Explainer animation
Some services are hard to explain in a paragraph and easy to explain in ninety animated seconds.
We make explainer animations from our Leigh-on-Sea studio, mixing in visuals, voiceover and compelling music to turn a complicated offer into something a customer actually watches - most of ours so far have been for estate planning companies, but the approach fits any business with something to explain.
An explainer earns its keep in the places attention is shortest: the top of a homepage, a social feed, the start of a presentation or a screen in a waiting room.
One film, used everywhere your customers may pause for a minute.
Script, animation and voiceover can all come from the same desk (you'll see it pictured below), so the whole film speaks with one voice. Better still ... you have one point of contact who will help with the script and give advice as to visuals and flow.

Voiceover
Voiceovers are recorded in our purpose-built, sound-treated studio in Leigh-on-Sea - for explainer videos, phone systems and on-hold messages, presentations, adverts and anything else that needs a voice.
The treated room is the part people forget. Most of what makes a voiceover sound cheap isn't the voice, it's the space around it: the hum, the echo off a bare wall, the traffic outside. Recording somewhere built for the job means the words arrive clean, and stay clean once music sits underneath them.
Send a finished script and we'll record it. If it isn't finished, that's no problem - we'll help shape it, because a line that reads well on paper and a line that sounds right out loud aren't always the same thing.
And the voice doesn't have to be ours. If a different tone suits your project better - older, younger, another accent entirely - we can call on a range of professional voiceover artists and presenters, and pick the voice or the face that best suits your business. Each of them records in their own professional setup, so a different voice doesn't mean a drop in quality.
You don't need a film from us to use the studio. Plenty of voiceover work goes out on its own, or into something being produced elsewhere - a phone system, an exhibition guide, a training module, someone else's video. You can have the finished audio to drop straight into your project, or leave the assembly with us. Either suits.
Hear the voice
Video editing
Already have footage? Bring it to us. We edit material you supply into promotional videos, YouTube content and social media posts - cut to the platform and sized for where it will play, widescreen for YouTube, square and vertical for the feeds.
Phone footage, old projects, event recordings - if it's watchable, it's usable. An hour of conference footage can become a highlights reel and a month of social clips; the material you already own usually has more in it than you think.

Abi HoweGoogle reviewWe got Andy at Bang! Graphics to create our wedding invites and they are amazing. We weren't very good at giving him ideas - he asked us a set of questions to get an idea of what we wanted, but we weren't completely sure ourselves, so we were quite vague.
Andy didn't have a lot to go on apart from a colour and a couple of images from Google that I liked, yet he managed to create a base for us to go from, which was lovely. Our theme was emerald green and the invites were perfect - not over the top. Andy also helped us out a lot with the wording too. We didn't actually change that much from his first draft as he pretty much nailed it first time!
Andy was incredibly patient and great to work with. We would definitely recommend him to anyone needing help designing something.

Gareth HallsworthClearFirst Pest Control SolutionsGoogle reviewI can't recommend Andy and Bang! Graphics highly enough. He has helped me with several aspects of my business since start up, including designing my logo and letterhead, as well as creating and managing my website and web hosting.
What I particularly appreciate is how easy he is to deal with. Andy takes the time to understand what I'm looking for, is always happy to make changes or offer advice, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. The finished work has always been professional and exactly what I was hoping for.
It's also great having someone I can rely on for everything from my branding and logo design through to my website and hosting, rather than having to deal with different people for each job.
If you're looking for someone friendly, reliable and genuinely good at what they do, I'd definitely recommend Andy.

Annalisa HerveChaseway Lane BotanicalsGoogle reviewAndy has been looking after my website for many years, following a recommendation from a colleague of mine, it's the best thing I've done! His devotion to website management is second to none; attention to detail being one of his many qualities.
Whenever he runs his regular security updates, he always tests my website then contacts me to let me know what he's done. When he gently suggested that my old aging website could do with a freshen up, he walked me through the entire process with the patience of a saint. He redesigned it within my budget and has made my new website look amazing. Andy very quickly recognised that I am a bit of a Luddite when it comes to anything computer related and has very kindly been to my house to streamline my emails on my laptop and phone. Whenever I've yelled for help, he's responded within the hour - often fixing the problem at the same time. Looking back through my emails to him, it seems all of my "sent" emails have the words "thank you so much". Do what I did - get Andy to sort your website out, you won't regret it.

Highly recommended!

Rani ViknarajaAma's Rustic PantryGoogle reviewAndy has been working on several aspects of our chutney business matters and his work has been exemplary! Andy's web design with a logo to our specification and appropriate choice of colors and images is awesome and has been commented on by several family members and friends.
We also have a personalized email which was set up by Andy. Although Andy doesn't usually do designs for labels, he did ours and in fact the company that printed the labels were very impressed with the design! Andy went a step further and designed our business cards and compliment slips to make a lasting impression. We will recommend Andy/Bang Graphics with absolutely no hesitation!

Helen CarlessThe Society Of Fine Art Auctioneers and ValuersGoogle reviewAndy re-designed our Society's website. On time and on budget. From the beginning he was meticulous in making sure he had understood the brief.
He offered very sensible advice and was able to talk in "layman's language". He is very patient! We had to overcome some issues with the integration of two sites which meant some extra hurdles and Andy took the time to make sure he had found the correct solution. He is a perfectionist but if something is going to overrun the budget he is scrupulous about referring back before he incurs extra expense. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

Video questions
When can you start?
It depends on whether there is a shoot involved. An animation or a voiceover can usually start as soon as the script is settled, and we would look at the work diary and tell you when. Editing footage you already have is the same. Anything that needs filming has a date to find rather than a slot to fill - the location, the people in it and, if we are outside, the weather all have to line up, and that is usually what sets the start rather than how busy we are. We would work back from when you need it finished. Some parts of the year are busier than others, so it is worth asking at the time.
What kind of videos can you put together for us?
Bang! Graphics has created explainer animations with voiceover for years now for multiple clients. They are the kind that turn a complicated service into a minute or two a customer actually watches. The animations for Everest Estate Planning are ours. If you need corporate video services for promotional purposes, seminars or more ... then we can put you in touch with the very talented Marcus at Media2U. We have worked closely with him for many years and trust his work will deliver the results you will hope for.
Do you do voiceover?
Yes - voiceover is part of the service, from script to finished audio. We can create the sound that you require for your video, radio promo or podcast. Need a different voice? We can assist with that too, as we have voiceover contacts in the industry ready to quote for your job. In a previous working life we have also gained experience in audio production and can offer this as a service to truly create an audio/visual product to help boost sales, push engagement or grow your audience.
How long should an explainer video be?
Usually somewhere between sixty and ninety seconds. Long enough to explain the thing properly, short enough that people watch to the end - which matters most at the top of a homepage or in a social feed, where attention is shortest. We have made longer for a more engaged audience, it very much depends on where you are planning to use it.
Do I need a script before we start?
Ideally, as it will enable us to price the job. If you have not got a script, we will help shape it initially to then find the full fee afterwards - a line that reads well on paper and a line that sounds right out loud are not always the same and we are willing to offer our experience to improve your overall product.
Can you record a voiceover for a video someone else is making?
Yes. Plenty of voiceover work goes out on its own or into something being produced elsewhere - a phone system, an exhibition guide, a training module, another studio's video. You can have the finished audio to drop straight in, or leave the assembly with us.
Can I choose a different voice?
Yes. If a different tone suits the project better - older, younger, another accent entirely - we can call on a range of professional voiceover artists and presenters and pick the voice that fits. Each of them records in their own professional setup, so a different voice does not mean a drop in quality.
What else can a voiceover be used for?
Phone systems and on-hold messages, presentations, adverts, exhibition guides, training modules - anything that needs a voice. It is all recorded in a purpose-built, sound-treated room in Leigh-on-Sea, which is the part that actually makes a recording sound professional.
How much does a video cost?
The cost of corporate video or explainer animations can vary depending on the length, filming environment, shots required (drone, for example) and the number of days’ shooting required. Typically the range is £1,200 - £5,000. If you would like a more detailed quote, please do reach out and we can learn more about your project and gain the ability to give a more educated price for you.
How long does a video take?
This is highly dependent on the scope of your project. Some products can be complete in a matter of days, some may take 2-3 weeks. When it is a larger project time needs to be allocated for you to view rough cuts and give feedback.
What do you need from me to get started?
We would have a discovery meeting with you to find out the purpose of the video, your goals and how the video will be used. From that we can work with you to plan the shoot. It is at this point that we will be asking you to provide any locations, props, people or anything else that the project may need. We can of course assist with voiceovers, music, sound effects and give advice too.
Got something you want filmed or animated?
Thirty minutes on Google Meet. Talk the idea through and we'll tell you straight what making it would take - and whether there is a simpler way to the same result.
The call is with Andy, the person
who will primarily be working on your project.
